Kasey is a registered veterinary technician with over 30 years of experience in the veterinary industry, spanning roles in nursing, practice management, inventory management, veterinary marketing, and sales. Like many veterinary professionals, she began her career with little to no experience, learning everything on the job—from patient handling and team dynamics to navigating the complexities of veterinary medicine. One of the most challenging and unexpected parts of her journey was learning how to communicate effectively with pet parents—a skill that often gets overlooked and is frequently learned the hard way. After years in practice, she took time off to raise her children, and during that break, a routine visit to a new veterinary clinic as a client gave her a fresh perspective. Experiencing life on the other side of the exam table highlighted a clear communication gap between veterinary teams and pet owners. That insight inspired her to create VetSnoot, a platform dedicated to improving client and patient experiences in veterinary medicine. Today, she helps veterinary professionals enhance their communication skills, build trust with clients, and have fun while doing it.
